Hi I'm Kathleen. I was born on April 4th, 1998 and I live in Central Ohio.
I'm a tomboy, cat lady, adult child, furry, catholic, and conservative!
I love amusement park rides, alarm and safety equipment, tactile stuff, audio and lighting equipment, long walks in the woods, and most importantly, my family and friends. I mostly make videos of amusement park rides, my family, kids stuff, politics, music, and me breaking things! I kind of suffer from depression but I smile for the camera like everyone else. And contrary to popular belief, I do not inhale fire extinguishers.

I took this on a recent family trip around Hawaii on a Norwegian Cruise trip around the islands. Sorry for the constant view of my legs, I'm a wheelchair right now since I recently injured my foot. :(

Took this last September after I had gotten taken off quarantine from having COVID hence why my voice sounds a bit different. But the first time I heard the voice on this thing, it sure scared the whits outta me. Although I gotta admit, I love the feeling of pulling the lever.

I took this sometime in July of 2019 right after moving to Ohio. If you listen, both the fire alarm and security panels are going absolutely haywire. An employee said it was a reoccurring problem they were having that day.

Emergency door w/ dying transmitter battery

Older emergency door alarms don't use rechargeable batteries like modern ones do. They use a type of battery know as a "Transmitter", that very much like a residential smoke alarm, causes the door to "chirp" when the battery runs low. This is inside of a dollar tree with the door being located in their back stock room.

At the Petco down the road from me, the doors have always sounded like this. I think they deliberately don't lubricate them to get the "whining dog" sound, hehe. :)

An Emerson branded Funai VCR unit from 2003 that somehow is still working 16 years later. Not sure how much these retailed for, but I'm sure it was under 50 dollars.

A few days ago, I was in my neighborhood Petsmart and saw the windows with the kitties in them. This one in particular had a love for playing underneath his bed. I guess he's what you could call a "tortoise shell", haha! :D
